Footnote 1:  The wedge backer option will add 5 1/2 inch to the length of the log splitter.

H = Horizontal log splitter / V = Vertical log splitter
TM = Tractor mounted / Tractor mounted log splitters are operated with the 3 point hitch PTO hydraulic system /
TMH = Horizontal & TMV = Vertical
Briggs = Briggs & Stratton over head valve (ohv) motor for log splitters and wood conveyors
5.5 = 5.5 Horse Power - all log splitter motors are ohv
Heavy duty frame = 6" x 6" all steel H beam for log splitters
# = Pound (25# = 25 lbs weight of the beam per foot)
Cycle = Cycle time of the log splitter cylinder

Wedge backer = Rectangular steel part behind the wedge/knife.  The wedge backer is required for the 4-way or 6-way slip-on wedge.  It is factory installed and must be ordered at the same as the machine (it will add 6 inch to the beam).

All American CLS log splitters and wood conveyors are fully assembled serviced and tested before delivery to your dealer!
